ZK Development Solutions works with small and medium sized companies and nonprofit organizations to improve their business development strategy and processes. We help clients specify their unique selling proposition, access publicly available and proprietary research resources to identify buyers and strategic partners, create and execute a go to market strategy, build a pipeline of opportunities, and respond to proposal requests. Our past success is built on carefully listening to clients and understanding the expressed and implied needs to develop a customized and flexible solution to meet those needs.
JIM BENDER, MHS -- Principal
Jim has had a highly successful career working for large federal contractors and government-funded nonprofit organizations. He helped lead a communications start-up that over a 10-year period grew to more $25MM in annual revenue. Working for Booz Allen Hamilton he developed the business capture strategy and led the proposal efforts that resulted in a threefold year over year increase in revenue year on year in his target market.
Jim led a non-profit subsidiary of the National Education Association through a process of strategic assessment, rebranding and re-birth. Over a 30 month period he identified new foundation funders to match the new branding and diversify the revenue stream.
In 2013 he founded ZK Consulting in order to share what he learned with the small business community. In 2016, he began consulting full time and rebranded his company to ZK Development Solutions. He is committed to helping small businesses adopt capture and business development best practices to sharpen their marketing strategies, improve their processes and raise more revenue with less drama.
